Perthshire Artisans to Exhibit at Birnam Arts this Winter

Local creative support platform Perthshire Artisans will be exclusively exhibiting at Birnam Arts for the first time from 30 November - 12 January.

Celebrating and supporting local is a choice many consumers are making this Christmas. Online platform Perthshire Artisans offers an easy way to access over 500 locally created handmade gifts, and with their first Winter Exhibition at Birnam Arts, they can be discovered in person too.

Providing a local gifting option, Perthshire Artisans features work from 36 independent creative businesses. The platform encourages consumers to shop local and support small businesses in their communities, which in turn supports the local economy, a message echoed by the annual Small Business Saturday UK campaign, which this year falls on Saturday 7 December.

Perthshire Artisans is a curated platform ensuring originality and high quality of products to choose from including ceramics, glass, candles, cards, homewares, prints, original artworks, jewellery, mosaic, clothing, accessories, leather and wood items. The platform was launched by Perthshire-based rural enterprise support organisation GrowBiz in 2020, as a way to support local creative businesses.

Working closely with Birnam Arts for the Winter Exhibition opening on Saturday 30 November provides an exciting opportunity for the Artisans to share their work with a local audience, and the additional option for consumers to enjoy choosing gifts in person and champion the area’s creativity.
